New Educational Features have been added to the Schools Broadband Filtering Service

As part of a new partnership with the National Crime Agency, we are excited to share with you the launch of our newly developed educational filtering block page service.
Now, when search terms contain keywords relating to cyber crime, a new block page will appear that informs the user of the dangers of cyber crime. The page contains links to the National Crime Agency’s Cyber Choices website, where children and young people can learn to make better use of their cyber skills.
The block page will be activated automatically for all schools as part of your filtering service. Your filtering will continue to work as normal, except certain search terms will display the Cyber Choices block page.
To opt-out of this feature please navigate to the specific site you would like to modify via ‘filtering’ on the left-hand side of the service hub, then select ‘group.’ Click ‘manage and configure block pages’ and you can opt out from here.
